The above image was created by first importing a bitmap photo as a RAW sound file in Audacity. Effects were then applied, in this case an echo with a 3 second delay and decay factor of 0.50. The original image and fully glitched images (shown below) were then imported into GIMP as layers. By using a layer mask on the glitched image, the rocks and sky could be returend to normal whicle the repeaed image remained.
